For the EF100-300mm f/5.6, its 6-9/16 inch
is listed as equivalent to 166.8mm,
whereas here, for the "L" version, even though the inches remain
the same,
the millimeters has changed.
Personal
Opinion
This is another
case where Canon killed two birds with one stone. This
lens has the exact built quality as the "non-L" version.
Optically, however, it is two different stories.
