Comments (1) Email from Jay (Canada): I just looked over your fine lens reviews.... I would like to add something: I have an EOS 3 and D30, a 50f/1.4, 28-135IS, 300f/4 IS and a 200f/1.8. Let me say this: My 200 f/1.8 beats all of them by a mile at all apertures. In fact, at f/1.8, the 200 is the sharpest lens I have ever used. Yes I even have Zeiss lenses (28, 50(excellent) and 85 with my Rolleiflex 35mm). In fact this lens laughs at my 300f/4. It is very expensive and heavy. But the results are outstanding! I now only use my 300 when shooting in bright light and where very fast panning is needed, ie, airshows (the IS really works well). The 200 is a must lens to try. The detail is simply unbelievable.
